First consultation
The first step is to arrange a consultation (50 minutes for individuals and 60 minutes for couples). During this time we will have the chance to meet each other, talk more about your hopes and expectations of therapy and I can clarify in more detail my approach and the terms to which I practice. Coming to the first session does not commit you, it allows you the opportunity to decide whether you think you could work with me.
Open-ended therapy
Should you decide to continue, we would arrange a time for the therapy to take place (usually this would be at the same time each week, however exceptions will be considered) Psychotherapy tends to be open ended, this means that we do not work to a set number of sessions. If, at any point, you decide to discontinue, you are free to do so. However I would usually encourage some discussion prior to ending your therapy to ensure you receive the support you may need during this process.
Cost
For individuals I charge £60 for a 50 minute session.
For couples I charge £90 for a 60 minute session.
